Hello!

Do you separate bubs clothes from your own? If you do when did you stop?

  • I did wash my baby’s cloth nappies (after soaking them in Napisan overnight) and clothing separately until she grew out of nappies.

  • I only wash my husband’s clothing separately because he has extremely oily skin so his clothes need extra soap or an extra wash to clean them properly.

  • I never separated the baby clothes from adult clothes. I just scrubbed and pre soaked all soiled items before washing them (and still do actually)

  • I did upto about a yr. I normally use sensitive detergents for all of our washing but I was more concerned about the germs on our skin compared to babies.
I figured in the first yr of life bubs will get sick, crawl and get covered in dirt from time to time so they have gained some sort of immunity.

  • Yep. Babies clothes go through their own separate wash. I use the detergent for sensitive skin and a little fabric softener. I guess around age 2-3 I started washing their clothes with ours

  • I separate in colours and scrub and soak any soiled items before I add them to the washing machine.
