Washing fruit and veg – I saw a post the other day about soaking your fruit & veggies in water & vinegar – which removes all the chemicals & helps keep them fresh. I just wanted to know if I could get some more details – like what vinegar to use & how much.

  • rinsing with water is more than enough. if the trace chemicals on fruits and veggies were that dangerous that you needed to soak in any solution other than water the farmers would not be able to use it.
