Hello!

Is there any age? If so when? Has gender made or influenced your decision?

  • I think my daughter was 5 or 6 years old and my boy was 4 or 5 years old when we stopped sharing the bath together.

  • Let them decide, when the time is right they will let you know.

  • My 5 yr old boy and 3 yr old ill bath together. They don’t like bathing without the other. Hopefully this lasts a bit longer as its easier to bath them together! Lol

  • My daughter showers alone at aged eight. Keeping ear out for them or a knock on door to check ok is fine.

  • My eldest is 9 and he has asked to shower by himself and I think that is fine.

  • i have b/g twins, and i stopped them bathing together around 4. this was mainly because they fought rather then their gender. They’re 8 now and try as i might to keep them apart whilst bathing – they’re forever calling the other to talk to them! When one or the other starts to question their privacy i will step in harder – and privacy is something that we talk about, and they know they are entitled to

  • My 2 boys are still too little bit I am perfectly happy to let them decide when they want their own space

  • having Boys five years apart it wasn’t a drama for us, but they decided that one wanted to shower and the other bathe at the same time so they could have their Brother chat time in privacy.

  • I only have girls so the gender thing wasnt an issue for me but I didnt actually stop them from bathing together. It was their decision. I think all of a sudden you will find they want privacy and they will want to have their own bath.

  • My boys often still bath together by choose for them they love a massive bubble bath with there cars and they are at school. Depends on so much and what it right for your family may be totally different to other families

  • I would probably say when one of them starts going to school.
