  • I loved craft kits as a kid. Especially sand art, those kits were my favourite.
Cooking is also a major hit, maybe a cook book or something so you can spend a bit of family time in the kitchen.

  • I think gift cards are amazing. Especially from Target, KMart or BigW. These stores have everything from clothes to shoes to make up to toys. So much for them to choose from

  • I’m getting my daughter a flower press and weaving loom.

  • One word-Jewellery! You just can’t go wrong!

  • My girls (Ages 5 & 9) love drawing, colouring and anything arts and crafts. They love the Quixel beads that they can make their own designs on and just last week I picked up some great books in The Reject Shops which let them use their imagination by designing t-shirts and dresses. (They’re called Glamour Girl Scrapbooks) Kmart have some great crafting packs for a fraction of the cost – knitting, beading, making your own hair clips and make your own dreamcatchers and snow globes.

  • Everyone loves a personalised item, but especially girls. . Gorgouse gifts and personalised to suit. Example in the pics but lots to choose from. This is the link to get something https://www.facebook.com/pausethemomentwithsam

  • Movie vouchers, books, roller skates/blades, kites/outdoor activities, craft, nice jewellery or a nice jewellery box…

  • Crafts are great. Spotlight have some great woodwork type kits. They can make jewellery boxes and stands etc.

  • If as your post said, they have everything, then maybe the best gift ideas would be personal gifts or one on one time? The 5 and 9 year olds would probably love a toy or book but maybe you could get tickets to the zoo or something similar in your area? For the 12 year old maybe a movie voucher to use with friends or say you’d take her and have a special day out??

  • I like giving personal gifts like necklaces/rings etc or buying vouchers for “experiences” eg: my daughter loves animals so I bought her a Kids to Keepers day at the Reptile Park and my little man likes Dinosaurs so I got us tickets to see Walking with the Dinosaurs. How about a Pedicure voucher for the 12 year old? A special mum day with each of them?

  • I have noticed they have bought out new ranges of shopkins. I think shopkins is a win win everytime with girls of those ages

  • my advice would be teaching them to be creative in making gifts, some great ideas in shops andon interet that show the value of creativity.Or activities you cn share and learn with your daughters. Not just art, knitting, sewing but cookery gift or if interested in say bikes their own tool kit just thoughts for activities they can participate in. Back to family involvement rather than computer only skills which are important in our world but doing things together is special

  • How about craft things – teddy bear making kit, jewellery making kit?

  • Spotlight have some really great woodwork kits. They come with everything you need to make a jewellery box or jewellery stand. There are other types of craft kits as well

  • I think it really depends upon the children’s interests and your budget. You could ask them? (or their family if these aren’t your own kids). If you don’t want to ask I think 12 year olds would probably love money/vouchers as they get more independent.I would avoid all junk food lollies/chocolates as these wont do them any good and at christmas time there is just too much around!
