  • Comfort is the key but still make sure you look good as you will have more of a chance to be upgraded.
Drink plenty of water and get up & walk around every hour to prevent blood clots.
Get plenty of sleep and set your watch to the local time of your destination.

  • Comfortable clothes for the flight and extra jumper/jackets for disembarkation if your destination is a cold climate.

  • Also, plenty of fluids and movement breaks for everyone! :)

  • Loose fitting cotton clothing that can breathe and shoes that can slip on and off easily.

  • An IPad with their fave shows is helpful to keep them amused.

  • A shawl is great, you can use it many ways.

  • No jeans, belts or boots. Wear something that is loose around the waist like a dress or pants and a top. A Cardigan is easier to slip on and off. Always bring a pair of sock. Wear layers as it can get cold on the flight. Your 16 month old can wear her pyjamas if they are easy to do up and undo – whatever is most practical. Don’t forget a change of clothes for her and a toothbrush for you.

  • All the best advice has already been given here, loose or comfortable clothing is the key as could not think of being stuck in restrictive clothing or shoes for a large period of time.

  • I would choose comfortable, loose clothes for you and similar for your little girl. Remember, you’ll want easy access for nappy changes. A friend gave me a great tip for travelling with babies and toddlers – pack spare clothes (more than you think you’ll need) in large ziplock bags. Sometimes accidents can happen and if something gets spilled into your nappy/ travel bag, the spare clothes are gone.

  • Firstly comfort clothes for Mum, but to make bub super comfy a loose onesie plus their favourite blanket for snuggles + their night time huggies.

  • Loose fitting clothes, lots of books and drawing games sticker books and toothbrush for you lol

  • Leggings and a long comfy too, layer so you can undress if you get hot, same for bub

  • Wear whatever is most comfortable. The plane will be air conditioned, so no need to have heaps of layers on

  • For yourself something loose and comfy. For your child i would pack a spare outfit or two incase she gets sick or messed up while eating. Ones that are supper easy to change her nappy in. as the toliets on the plans are cramped and annoying to change nappies. . I would also check with the airline what kind of food they will supply your child while flying. Some provide bottled baby/toddler food other might not. You might need to pre book a special childs meal before leaving. And if your child still has the occasional bottle i would check on the rules in regards to that before leaving( supply of water or heating for it).

  • Go for comfort and layers. Some planes are too hot some too cold and some just right. I put on long sleeve t shirt and tracy pants with jumper and t shirt in bag if too hot so I can change. Also a jumper with a zip so you can have it done up if too cold or undone if warmer.
