I have a sweet tooth and I think naturally its been passed on. So pureed fruits were a fave in this house. We also are big fans or pear and cauliflower pureed together!!!
At 7 months, my kids were pretty much eating what I was eating, within reason, and just puréed up for easy eating. New foods are best introduced by themselves to test for reactions
Depends what you already introduced to your baby.
I started puree at 6 months and at this stage you can give pumpkin, carrot, pear, apples, avocados and bannana. Mix some of them together.
The first pureed / mashed food our first one was given was a combination of potato and pumpkin. We gradually introduced other vegetables, but we found he started refusing larger combination of everything pureed together so we did different smaller combinations. In that way we found out which vegetables he definitely didn’t like the same as we don’t like some. We then offered them separately with food we knew he liked. When he was older he would eat a small amount of those he earlier didn’t like
My son always tried to eat what we did so I’d usually puree our dinner. Sweet potato, pumpkin, brocolli in white sauce, and chicken or ham. He loved it!
My daughter Loved pumpkin. So I mixed a lot of extra veggies in with that. A great combo is pumpkin and sweet potato. Other wise give them a chopped up veggie (into a stick) to suck on. A fantastic one is Cucumber!
