  • i like to make dips. to 1kg of yogurt i add half a tablespoon salt and a heap of garlic chives then hang in the fridge in cheesecloth overnight to drain excess water. then you with have a thick creamy garlic chive dip/spread however you want to eat it

  • It makes lovely pastry and pizza dough. It’s nice on top of a curry. Lovely on baked potatoes in their jackets with a topping like egg and bacon, coleslaw or chilli con carne. I like it in a cheesecake in place of cream. Someone said the other day it’s nice with a sprinkle of Milo, I haven’t tried that one

  • Garlic and Feta dip – Greek yoghurt, feta, garlic and a little lemon juice put in the food processor and give it a whirl. Careful not to over do it or it will get runny.

  • Pizza dough. Google 2 ingredient pizza dough…so simple!

  • Tatziki, Tandoori Chicken, Greek Lamb salad or wraps, with musli and fruit. Dressings can be fairly easy too.

  • I use a bit in banana breads/ muffins as I tend to get old bananas every now and then. Plus my bubba loves them!

To be honest I just went to Taste.com.au and typed in ‘yoghurt’ and ‘bananas’ and several recipes came up. Depending on what you have in your fridge/ freezer/ pantry, do a search and see what pops up!

  • There are lots of uses for yoghurt, I put some in muffins with fruit, there are recipes for a crunchy yoghurt cake and the yoghurt keeps it nice and moist or into smoothies all healthy options.

  • you can make pizza dough and freeze it, 1 cup self raising flour and 1 cup greek yoghurt, roll out and top with your favourite toppings and cook :)

  • 2 ingredient pizza dough – flour and yoghurt, that’s it :)

  • I often use it for dressings; love the texture and flavour.

  • Greek yoghurt is great in many dishes. I actually like to experiment with it in recipes.

  • Marinade – Indian style for chicken
    In smoothies
Salad dressing ie replace it where you would use mayonnaise
There are cakes/muffins with yogurt in them

  • Greek Yoghurt breakfast with natural granola, fresh berries and honey.

  • You can make a marinate for the chicken drumsticks.I use 2 tbs of yogurt and I add salt , pepper , half tsp paprika , half tsp cumin , 1 tsp dried coriander , 1tsp dried parsley , 1 tsp lemon juice , bit lemon zest , 2 gloves garlic crushed.Cover the drumsticks with the marinate and after a couple of hours pop them on the barbeque.

  • Muffins, it makes them hold together better and not crumble as much
