  • You could always give them away. The local fish and chip shops would be grateful. So ridiculous the price in store. $1 or more for each lemon is crazy!!!

  • there are heaps of options. i love lemon curd its easy to make and if you jar it properly will last ages. home made lemonade is great (but lots of sugar)i recommend trying mint in it too. lemon goes really well in marinades as well. preserved lemons are great then try some international dishes with it.
or go it oldschool and find a neighbor with too many oranges an do a trade :)

  • I wish I had a lemon tree, that’ll make my cleaning, cooking and baking more interesting.
My friend who has a productive lemon tree always put out a big basket of them on the side of road for public to take away as she can’t be bothered to sell them on the fruit market. It’s a good thing.

  • Lemons are very easy and I think they are the most versatile. You can make lemon slices ( you need a zester ) , put them in tea hot or cold, lemon cakes and I’ve even cut them in halves and clean my kitchen tiles with them as citrus removes grease and oil. Also Google to see hints and tips. Enjoy it .

  • Oh yum, I wish I had your lemon tree!!

  • Lemon cake, lemon curd, cheesecake, lemon chicken, lemonade, squeeze the juices out and freeze in ice cube trays, also freeze the rinds, preserved lemons, lemon sorbet, lemon slice, oh I love lemons! Yum!

  • Give them away? I know I’ld love some! Sell them, lemon delicious. Lemon curd. Lemon meringue pie. You can preserve them. Yum. I have a slice in hot water with ginger first thing in the morning. Great detox and metabolism kick starter

  • There are some great ideas here

  • Lemon Delicious is always good. Lemon is a natural sanitizer so it could be used for cleaning. Or is there a free food table to donate them to? or somewhere else?

  • Have you tried preserving lemons? That can be a great gift. Or making lemon butter – also a great gift.

  • You can add lemon juice to your cause or simply squeeze them and put the juice into ice cube trays and freeze them. Then use the juice as you need it.

  • I do have to admit lemon cake sounds great!

  • Great response ,great that some old fashioned ideas still ring true
