  • It’s hard to remember to drink lots of water in winter do I end up with dry skin often. I often use a nivea body moisturiser that is a hydration one. The cream is thin, so absorbs quickly, and goes much further than other ones.

  • I love Sorbolene – cheap and effective. You could also try something like Weleda’s body butter.

  • Coconut oil and body butter for me as well. I make a face cream from raw shea butter, coconut oil and raw honey and for my hands I use petroleum jelly and gloves overnight

  • Trilogy does some great moisturisers. In winter I sometimes use a night moisturiser during the day for the extra moisture.

  • I use Sorbelene I find it works and its cheap.

  • We use body butter or coconut oil. Something that the skin can easily absorb and during winter don’t be afraid to do it more than once especially if you have a heatpump

  • Moisturise daily will help. Even if you can’t feel it, it will be better protected. And use something like QV cream in the shower. That’s good too

  • I use loreal day cream and eye serum. I also use night cream and eye cream once again. Been making a real effort this winter. Lip balm also as my lips have been quite dry.

  • Coconut oil! I suffer badly too and it works great for hydration, smoothing out rough patches, anti-fungal and smells fab!

  • The aveeno brand is a wonderful moisturiser it’s gentle on skins and is amazing. Also dermaveen is also good and it has a baby range as well both are great brands and gentle on all types of skin

  • I use baby oil when shaving my legs and as all over body rub, if good for babies good for me. As a moisturiser I havestarted using organic coconut oil and can see and feel difference. Still us other products during day but found these two a boon for me. Give it a try you can lso cook with coconut oil and very good for health also.

  • I used to use branded moisturisers, but now I just use coconut oil. It’s natural and has no chemicals like all the typical moisturisers.
The real reason your skin is so dry is more than likely cause you’re dehydrated, made worse by exposure to heating. Remember to hydrate from the inside. Drink 8 cups of water at the minimum. If you’re a coffee drinker, add another cup of water for each cup of coffee you drink.

  • Aveeno is great but I also use Clarins tonic oil and coconut oil. All make my skin feel great.

  • Believe it or not I have sarted to use organic coconut oil after bath or shower hve noticed a marked improvement in my skin and have been told I look healthier. So not just for cooking but face and body product as well. Good for inner and outer health and wellbeing. I am a mature woman and still learning so hope good for you too.

  • I use In-Shower Rich Body Lotion from Nivea. I love the smell and my skin isn’t itchy from dryness anymore and doesn’t “look” dry either
