  • I love to enter competitions and do online surveys I find it relaxing

  • I like to read a book in bed before I go to sleep, work a bit in the garden, read articles on Mums and occasionally I sew/knit/crochet

  • Have nice cup of coffee on the verandah quietly

  • Walks or a work out

  • Listen to music with the earphones in while I clean the house lol

  • Reading books , net seaching, talk to my sisters

  • I talk to my mother and best friend for hours it makes me so refreshed. Sometimes i just want to sit near sea shore and sit there for hours and relax and not talk about anything

  • During the day I like to garden, while I am doing gardening I forget about everything, if you have the kids with you, get them involved too. At night I like to watch my favourite TV or DVDs, and also read.

  • I try to organise things. I struggle to be in mess and clutter. It’s not perhaps relaxing enough to do for me but for the moment it’s what I do

  • I head out and water the garden, gives me 1/2 downtime and my thoughts to myself, also just doing the garden in general!
Most of the time I have my children playing around me outside, and they leave me alone… the more active I am outside the more they tend to follow and just play, it also gets them into the passion of getting outdoors heaps too!

That’s pretty much the only thing I do for myself (if not I wait til the babies are all in bed and I munch away at my chocolate!) hahaha

  • I spend some good time with me and me only when my kids sleep

  • A nice walk, just me and the dogs so I can have an “empty head” for a few minutes. Read a book with a cup of tea or coffee so I can escape into the story. A nice shower with the door locked.

  • I get Grandparents to mind my baby while I do the shopping in peace, no restless hungry or fussy baby for an hour or so. It gives the grandparents a chance to bond with their grand child. I always leave 2 feeds instead of just one in case I am delayed for any reason. Also plenty of other baby items that could be needed.

  • Colouring in
    A cup of tea
    Gym
    A guided meditation
    Cooking uninterrupted

  • I love having a cup of tea in peace and quiet. This could be outside sitting in the sunshine or in the evening watching a TV show I enjoy
