Hello!

My little girl started school this year and is always coming home with paint or food stains on her uniform and it’s white!

  • My daughter has white uniforms too ( crazy colour for kids lol) and I put Napisan in every wash. For stubborn stains I will sometimes give them a scrub/soak but mostly they don’t need it.

  • I prefer to hand scrub with good old fashioned sunlight block soap. I make first the garment wet with piping hot water, apply soap and then scrub with a small hard nail scrubber, rinse and repeat when needed, then wash as usual

  • preen, or vanish as it is called now…. spray the poop out of the stain prior to throwing in wash

  • For stubborn stains I soak in napisan for a day and then add napisan to the wash then put in direct sunlight to dry, the sun should bleach it back to white.

  • Napisan is my go to life saver. The spray and the soak. I use it for everything. If it’s a stubborn stain, you just repeat til gone

  • Napisan! The powdered soaker and the spray bottle. Sometimes it takes more than one try, but it usually works

  • Napisn paste. I’ve never failed with it. Though you do need to soak and scrub.

  • Here is another suggestion either side of this page. Vanish Gold works in 30 seconds!

  • I find Napisan added to the wash helps, but I always scrub stains with Sard Wonder Soap before I put the clothes in the wash. This really helps get out tough stains.

  • yep i know the feeling. i have the laundry spray and the powder that i add.

  • I’ve got another vote for Vanish Gold, if you can pre-treat it or soak it when she gets home it’ll work a treat. Good luck!

  • Good old Napisan I used when my 3 boys played cricket in their whites always worked for me!

  • Warm or hot water can set a stain so I would recommend cold water. There is also google as I have found many a good tip on there.

  • My daughter has to wear white blouse under her dress and her sleeves get filthy!
I use a stain removal spray and spray directly on the affected areas…give them a good dose! Place in the was with normal spoon full of powder detergent and add a cap full of a stain remover in powder form (eg napisan). Then I wash (cold water). Always comes out…never had a stain issue. My husband also has chef whites for work!
I don’t buy the expensive stuff either…coles brand or even aldi!

  • Found a great hint on the web re chewing gum on school clothes which my teenage grandson seems to attract use nail polish remover just sponge on and it magically comes off
