  • I spend around $100 for 3 kids. Its way too much but I dont indulge them often.

  • $10 max. It’s ridiculous the price of chocolate zometimes. Wait until after easter when its all half price and more!

  • $20 per child.

  • I only spend a little bit. I usually buy one big egg/bunny for my kids (6 years & 3 years). I also buy a big bag of the little Cadbury eggs to hide for an easter egg hunt. They are happy with this. I find that they get gifts from the rest of the family as well, so we end up with quite a bit of chocolate which I end up throwing away months later. Don’t go overboard! :)

  • As long as they have a couple of Easter eggs to enjoy there is no need to go overboard!

  • Every year I say I am not going to go overboard and then I see all the cute Easter eggs and stuff. However this year I put a limit on the amount spent on eggs. Ten dollars for grandchildren and I buy good quality chocolate as I have found the other cheaper eggs don’t get eaten and eventually are thrown away.

  • I can’t bear to buy easter eggs until they are marked down to a more ‘normal’ price per 100gm. If you look at how much chocolate you are getting in easter products it is often tiny (which for the sugary stuff is in some ways is good, but still a rip off!) Before we gave up most chocolate products, I tried buying normal chocolate bars and used a mold to shape the melted chocolate… not quite the same as a ‘nice’ egg but good fun…and if we fancied a ‘nice’ egg would buy them half price or better on the Tuesday morning after easter.

  • I buy a few of the small ones for an Easter egg hunt. I also buy a block or two of chocolate. But I spend more on Easter gifts, better the chocolate.

  • I don’t spend a lot. Usually no more than $7 to $10

  • We don’t spend a lot on Easter Eggs, we mix it up with a small amount of eggs, homemade items including craft and food and hand crafted cards.

  • Personally I don’t like to buy any Easter eggs from the supermarket as the store bought ones are super unhealthy. But I do buy the ingredients to make raw chocolate Easter eggs at home and those ingredients are expensive, but go a long way.
Because I had to bring in Easter eggs for my daughter at Pre-school I bought carob Easter eggs (Banjo carob bear-bunny) from the health food store and paid $27 for 48 mini eggs.
