  • Scrunch up foil into a ball and scrub with it after pot has soaked.

  • I’ve done a lot of bicarb & vinegar too, however lately I’ve been using napisan soaker & boiling water and set it away over night. It works great !

  • I find that bicarbonate soda and a little vinegar with water, boiled in the burnt pot and allowed to sit over night. Works most times

  • I would soak this overnight with detergent and boiling water if this is very bad as no point in thinking of scrubbing if any residue is stuck on the pan as it will be rock hard .

  • Hopefully there is no hole, otherwise it is gone !

  • Bi

  • Enough water to cover burnt bits. A splash of vinegar and spoonful of bicarbonate. Bring to the boil. Remove from heat and let sit for a while. Should be heaps easier to clean

  • A little bit of water in the pot, with some bicarb and vinegar. Bring to boil. Turn off element and let pit sit til water cools. Burnt is usually easy to remove after that. And don’t forget pots on stove…..or it’ll be a worse mess

  • I give it a good soak with water and dishwashing liquid to try and soften up the residue. Then I roll my sleeves up, get the steel wool out and give it a good scrubbing. If it’s a pot that”s non-stick, then I’m more careful and use a softer scourer. Sometimes I need to take a break and let it soak again before I have another go at it.

This was the main reason why I got a rice cooker! I was so sick of cleaning burnt pots!

  • Bi card soda to cover base of pot and a tiny bit of water and soak over night. and scrub. it might take a few times to lift the grime but it works for me. But next time try doing this as soon as it happens its so much easier to get it off.

  • Soaking overnight in a mix of white vinegar and water should take it right off

  • Soak with a bit of dish washing liquid if this does not work them try boiling with some water and baking soda

  • hot water and some detergent. leave it to soak overnight as long as you can, scrub with steel wool and you should be good! there is a new product called power soaker from morning fresh. it is supposed to work in 10mins but for harder things like this, leave that in there overnight and it will be easy in the morning

  • Soak overnight; then dish detergent, hot water and a scourer and lots of elbow grease!

  • I constantly did this with rice (now cook it in the microwave!) vinegar and hot water, soak over night and it usually comes straight off.. Good luck :)
