  • My husband chatted to someone at Bunnings who recommended a few products for our lawn. It’s come up really well

  • We laid turf because our soil is so bad that professional gardeners laughed at us when we asked for advice. I understand that even if you’ve got good soil, it’s a lot of work to maintain a good lawn.

  • Also try not cutting it back too short in summer.

  • Interesting to read that Sulphate Of Ammonia works well – will definitely give it a try!

  • Urea and yellow sand

  • Lots and lots and lots of water!!

  • So needed the answer to this, thanks for asking

  • Thank you all for your answers! They are wonderful!

  • Talk to tim’s garden staff. They will help you

  • The first comment is the right answer! We got ours from an agriculture business next to my husbands work and golly, everyone tells us we have the best lawn in the suburb

  • Thank you for asking your question…following :)

  • Try using “Scotts Lawn Builder 4kg Extreme Green Slow Release Lawn Fertiliser”.
This is a slow release fertilizer, suitable for most lawns.

You should see a greener lawn in three days, and your lawn will also be fed for the next three months.

  • I used to use Sulfate of Amonia not sure if I have it right but I used that on my lawn, you sprinkle it like fertiliser and water the lawn as usual and the lawn would come up lovely and green.
