What is the right fabric softener to use in top loading machines

Hello!

I want to know what is right softener to use.I use Cuddly and other brands depending on price/special. every time I do the washing the softener glugs up in the holder and I have to scrap out the collected mass.I contacted Elecrolux [maker] and was told to use Top Loading softener but which one.I have always thought they were the same regardless of what machine type.

Apparently there are some laundry detergents that have fabric softener in them. I think one of them may be Cold Power powder. You may need to read the containers of various brands. The Reject Shop has some but I don’t know the Brand of it. Purity makes a liquid one. The bottle is blue and I think the fabric softener has a pink lid. If you put too much detergent in your washing it may make your clothes hard / stiff. Also if you dry it in very hot sun makes some materials go still / hard. I was also told that too much detergent doesn’t actually make some clothes any cleaner. Also it may not rinse out properly.
