  • Cool and dark works fine for the shop ones and don’t cut (obviously). I imagine home grown is similar?

  • Store them in a cool dark dry place and avoid any humidity. Good luck

  • Cool dry and dark and don’t cut them they should last 3 months.

  • I always cut the pumpkin into pieces and remove the seeds and put in fridge. No need to peel but this means they keep a bit longer

  • It is important that the piece of stalk that is attached to the pumpkin has dried – is not still green and moist to touch

  • I believe keeping them in a cool dark place – not the fridge – works well.

  • Store in a cool, dry, dark place and leave about 5cms of the stalk attached. I found mine stored for months this way. Oh, and rotate them so they’re not sitting on the same spot all the time, limits bruising and squashy bits

  • You are welcome. Success with your pumpkins! I love them!!

  • Thanks much for your involved input this was really helpful everything I needed to know about pumpkin storing thanks

  • I would probably store them in a dry and dark place like I do with potatoes and onions.
