  • The best nappy for nappy rash is no nappy! Let that poor skin breathe with some tummy time and no nappy. I found my kids had much better skin when they had lots of fresh air, a tiny bit of sunshine, even a day at the beach (with lots of sun protection of course!).


  • I agree with mom93821. The key is to change nappies regularly so that the bottom is kept as dry as possible. Also, some nappy-free time is also a good way to reduce nappy rash.


  • Following tips on avoiding nappy rash can also help – there are plenty of fact sheets available to reference.


  • Regular changing and keeping areas clean and dry is the key regardless of cloth or disposable nappies.


  • Modern cloth nappies are great if you have time to wash them. Otherwise disposables are good
