Hello!

I have just been given a lot of eggs and I’m not sure what to do with them. My partner doesn’t like meals where you can see the eggs or they have a strong flavour. Have you got any ideas? I don’t want them to go to waste.

  • You can make a big pavlova make lemon butter with the yolks also make rissoles that has a egg to combine.

  • Can stir them in casseroles also just whip them first .

  • Fried rice with finely chopped egg?

  • Omlettes and/or instead of lunch or dinner have friends over for breakfast. We went through 15 one morning with 2 extra adults and 2 kids :)

  • meringues, cakes, biscuits, fish cakes

  • What about a quiche with lots of vegies so he doesnt notice the eggs?

  • Thanks for all of the answers. Today was spent cooking lots and lots of cakes and cupcakes which my 3 year old loved and tomorrow is going to be filled with lots more cooking with all the left over eggs.

  • Breads, french toast, pasta, marshmellow and all the bakes good everyone has already mentioned.

  • I know you said He doesn’t like to see the eggs but I would suggest making frittata or crustless quiche but make it in muffin pans and you have the perfect size for lunch boxes. They freeze well too.
Or you could make advocaat. It’s a drink that uses a lot of yolks, for the whites make meringues or pav.

  • I guess you got the answers from everyone already. CAKE, lots of cakes.

  • Cakes, lots of cakes. And quiche. ..

  • bake and freeze the results lol get the kids to decorate them, boil eggs for their lunch and egg sandwiches.

  • lots of baking if your hubby don’t like the cakes or slices you could always donate them to the foodbank or local fundraising stalls

  • Bake some cakes and muffins for yourself..your partner won’t say no to cake..and if he does, that’s a bonus for you then lol :-)

  • Salads like Caesar or potato salad contain boiled eggs chopped in half so your husband could remove them from the dish.
