Hello!

We will be interstate for Christmas Day so it needs to be small.

  • Since you’re interstate I would go for an experience or something small but special, for example a piece of jewelry

  • I’m getting my 8 yr a Vivofit garmin jr2.

  • A list to Santa for ideas might help!

  • I like the other suggests about camera
Maybe some craft items, books, clothes, games, puzzles

  • Movie voucher
    Camera
    Bowling voucher

  • Love the idea of an experience and/or maybe a camera to capture the special moments – even a fun disposable camera so there’s also the excitement of getting the film developed!

  • I like what others have said, give her the gift of an experience she wouldn’t get at home. Also consider her interests if you must get a physical gift. E.g. My daughter loves puzzles and animals, so I would get her those 3d wood animal puzzles, easy to deconstruct and remake & when we got home she could decorate it. Sometimes the bulkiest part of presents is the packaging, so also consider unravelling it all & gifting it in a plain box (whatever is on hand, even a food box) so it’s a nice surprise upon opening.

  • Get her an experience! Horse riding, snorkeling, a day at a theme park – something she can remember, and you could even make a photo book about it afterwards.

  • Build a Bear voucher, play centre voucher, a photo of presents waiting at home, an ipad/ipod

  • My daughter is also 7, she loves arts/drawing so is getting a few little things like that for Christmas, shes also getting a new bracelet and charms.

  • I would go for a book about Christmas. Maybe something like “The night before the night before Christmas” by Richard Scarry. Or “Merry Christmas, Amelia Bedelia” by Peggy Parish. Books my daughter loved at that age. :-)

  • Since you will be away maybe a colouring book or something simple for your travels.
If your child believes in Santa maybe tell them that Santa delivers to your home… We left a forwarding address though Santa could only give you something small because we don’t have a magic sack like he does.

  • Surely a holiday interstate is enough if a present? Then maybe give her gifts when you get home

  • Does she like LOL’s?my girls love them and they ate small so shouldn’t take up alot of room also thete are so many to choose from good luck and safe travels!

  • You could purchase a special activity to do either while you are interstate or when you get back. Things could include manicure/pedicure – mini me sessions, vouchers for the movies, going to a musical or theatre show, an outdoor experience like horse riding or climbing adventure park. Could base it around her interests or get her to try something new. Goodluck.
