Dust pan and brush to clean the floor, ground sheet to lay at the front entrance – this allows sand and fine dirt to fall off before walking inside – it does help minimise mess, aluminium foil is great for campfire cooking and you can also buy great retractable marshmallow sticks online on Wish- these are great! And obviously insect repellant, sunscreen and toilet paper.

Other than your usual camping gear. Extra jumpers, antihistamine tablets, bite cream, baby wipes (we use these for everything), pack of playing cards, colouring-in supplies.

Depends on the period of time for camping. Wet and dry clothes and plenty of underwear and socks. Toys and entertainment that does not require power. Insect repellant and a first aid kit for bumps, scrapes and insect bites. Plenty of snack foods and water. Caravan and camping internet sites/pages can be quite useful with lists of essential items required for camping.

make sure you have enough weather suitable clothes for each child, and at least one warm set as well plus walking shoes. Insect repellent, sun screen, hats. Some backup longlife food (cans of soup, baked beans, milk packs). A box of water. Outdoor and swimming toys, but also some activity books for indoor weather. Boardgames! A first aid kit. Just check the facilities at the camping site and see if towels/ soaps/ laundry powder is needed. You should be set – anything else would be a luxury Enjoy!

travel light, minimum clothes and a couple of toys. Encourage outdoor play, so balls shovel and spade are perfect.
