  • If it’s on the outside, I would just hose them down every now and again.

  • It was very dusty where we used to live. I would fill a bucket with hot soapy water (dishwashing liquid works great) and wash them down with a broom. Then spray them with the hose to wash all the leftover dirt and soap suds. Was a great way to reach our windows that were high up too.

  • I use Methylated spirits and old newspaper to remove excess dirt & grime and then buff with a cloth or paper towel. It does take a little elbow grease but its certainly a worthwhile arm workout!

  • I hear you! I live on a rural property and I know what your talking about. I use an enjo window cleaner and drying cloth. Awesome and quick.

  • For a quick clean I would use the squeegee & a bucket of warm soapy water followed by a rinse with the hose.
Dust can be very inconvenient, especially if you have allergies.

  • This works every time and no streaks. In a bucket of water mix a big squirt of dishwashing liquid with a big squirt of rinse aide for the dishwasher. Wash the windows with a rag or squeegee then rinse with a hose. Sparkling clean windows.

  • I have one of those window squeegees like they have at the servo. It has a long handle! Pretty sure I got it from Bunnings.
All I do is wet the windows with the hose (make sure they are closed first!!!), the wet the squeegee and spray window cleaner on it, scrub the window and then squeegee it off!
I also use windex and newspaper!
I live on a bust road with lots of trucks and i’ve found it effective to remove a lot of dirt easily!

  • If it’s just dust, wouldn’t a quick hose down do the job? Otherwise I use metho in a spray bottle and wipe/rub off with scrunched up newspaper

  • I agree with rachelvk For the windows out side get hubby to do a pressure hose or hose down with the hose and use the machine quicky afterwards and it comes up a treat.. For inside it comes with a water spray, as long as you do one window at a time its so easy and works well on all the finger prints the kids leave on the windows..

  • We have lots of windows. One of the best things I ever bought is my Karcher Window Vac. It was about $100 but is amazing. You spray the window with water, wipe the window clean then it vacuums up dirty water before it drips. It’s battery operated and no chemicals needed, just water!

  • l use windex and an cloth and it takes 2 mins!

  • I use the Enjo window cleaner and not just because I am an Enjo consultant. It is so quick and easy, just your enjo and water….no bucket to drag around. I know it is quite expensive to buy but that is your only outlay for window cleaning for years (some people have used theirs for 20+ years). I have not bought any cleaning products like windex, ajax, etc since I started using Enjo. Saved heaps if you think of it….each bottle of windex costs around $3.90. Save money and save the environment too with less chemicals and less packaging.

  • The only quick & easy way I know is to pay someone else to do it-LOL

  • Fill a bucket with hot water and vinegar and use it to clean the windows. Or, if you want something quick for the outside, try this product. I’ts very easy to use. You attach it to hose and you spray the windows. They never get as clean as when you do it in the traditional way, but it’s surely handy and quick.

  • vinegar, water and old newspapers :)
