  • The way to my heart is doing the house work! Not everyone’s idea of romance, but you would definitely win my heart with that!

  • It’s about thought and effort not the $ fairy lights a blanket a picnic under the stars a nice home cooked meal flowers from aldi spontaneously doesn’t need to cost much a heartfelt note hidden in her lunch etc

  • How cool to see a gentleman participating on this site :) Give her a rest from her daily routine. Do some housework, do some childcare duties and cook a meal while she enjoys a glass of wine. It’s easy to please a mum

  • A wonderful dinner waiting when she gets home with a bottle of champagne and candles to create a romantic evening!

  • Cook a beautiful meal & eat together by candlelight.
Run her a bubble bath by candlelight.
Have a picnic in the park.
Go back to the place you first met.
Find an activity she enjoys & do it with her.
Pick her a bunch of flowers.
    Buy her a teddy bear.
Make her something, something from your heart.

I wish you the best of luck.

  • I don’t think you actually have to do anything to be romantic – I love going for a walk with my husband and just talking and being together

  • Make her a nice dinner, grab out some candles. Take her to the beach for a long walk. Make up a picnic and blindfold her take her to a beautiful park, hold hands, and cuddle her. Ask her how her day was, how she feels etc, make it all about her,

  • Also; a picnic at a park.

  • A special home cooked dinner.

  • Cook dinner with a girly movie for afterwards, maybe help do a bit of housework. You could organize a picnic in a nice park or by a lake/river/beach.

  • Coupon book is sooo cute!
One time my partner ran me a bath, lit candles, put towels out, bowl of strawberries and Doritos (favorites of mine). Everything I needed was there.
In the meantime he was making my favorite dinner. He timed it so that when I was finished, dinner was ready. I felt so rejuvenated, loved, special and we didn’t even have to leave the house!

  • Hand make her a coupon book with ones like night off putting kids to bed, night off cooking dinner or other such things you can do for her

  • Helping her out around the house probably means a lot more than you think.
I don’t know her so I’m not too sure but just hiring a $4.00 movie and cuddling on the lounge is a perfect ‘date’ night for me :)

  • Well all our moms on here have given excellent ideas so I wish you all the very best of wishes .. and my tips :can’t go past a meal and candles and a good movie = meal, well if I don’t have to cook or make it, anything would suit me, candles can be purchased at the reject or $2 shop, movie, borrow from family or friends or hire one, they aren’t that expensive. BEST OF LUCK and lovely to have you on here. :-)

  • Very small thoughtful things that are personal to you are great. For example, my husband once bought me a smurf holding a bunch of flowers, because he remembered I collected smurfs as a kid. Cost him $3 and really thrilled me. Or a card with a really thoughtful personal message. Or small thoughtful gestures – my husband doesn’t drink tea, but I do, so he learnt to make a cup exactly as I like it so he could bring me one in bed in the morning.
