I had a Hoover that lasted 27 years and I now have a Speed Queen which was pricey but should last at least 25 years or more.

I had six children and did no less than 3 loads of washing every day. I had a HOOVER 7kg TOP LOADER. Three machines in 38 years. Last one still going (my daughter now uses it with two little ones of her own). I did need to replace some parts on a couple of the machines over the years, but this was way cheaper than buying a new machine.

I have an LG 9.5kg top loader, it’s the best

Samsung 10kg front loader, had it 2 years, treat it badly and it works like a dream, I love my front loader, it takes less than an hour for a load, fits in heaps, and spins clothes really dry so they do not take long on the line or in the drier, could not ask for more, Oh and the clothes are really clean.

One that lasts longer than 5 years!

I have a Fisher Paykel washer and it is a fantastic machine. It is a top loader and unlike older style washers it has about 6 different water levels which is a good saving over time with water consumption

I have a simpson 7.5 and its great, Its at least 5 years old and hasn’t broken down and the amount i wash it handles with ease

We have a samsung frontloader. We aren’t that impressed with it. We also have trouble with mould in the rubber no matter what we do

I have an LG front loader and love it

Simpson, L.G or Fisher and Paykel top loaders are awesome! I worked at Harvey Norman before becoming a SAHM and these never returned faulty and always sold like hot cakes. I love to be able to throw those few things i missed in and get lots of loads done (front loaders take forever for a genuine wash) if the washing line gets backed up.

I have an LG front loader & think it’s awesome. My parents in law work in this industry and have always said LG are the longest lasting and offer the best & longest warranty.

I personally have owned two Simpsons and find them great.

Don’t buy a westing house front loader 708 it leaks water out the front since new, and 3 tradesmen later, no one can figure out where it comes from. So towels needed on the floor when washing? I have 2 sisters who have a Miele front loader, and both love them. That’s what I’m going to buy next

We are very happy with our Samsung Top Load 6.5kg. Samsung make really good products.
