  • Unhealthy options are of course, ice cream, chocolate, jelly

For slightly healthier home made options; vanilla yoghurt with peaces, rice pudding, coflutis (deep dish pancake with berries)

But we always try and give them some fruit

  • Homemade ice cream is another favourite here :)

  • My kids love fruit and ice cream or jelly ;)

  • Natural greek yoghurt with cinnamon and homemade granola, natural greek yoghurt with fruit, cut up fresh fruit, fresh fruit smoothie, homemade ice cream, apple in puff pastry, apple crumble, fried apple rings in batter, fried banana in batter, fried pineapple in batter, small dutch pancakes (poffertjes).

  • Ice cream is a must in summer.

  • Anything really as long as it’s sweet :)

  • Homemade chocolate custard – healthier than the shops.
    600ml milk
    3 tablespoons cornflour
    3 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 (although I use 2) tablespoons raw sugar.
Heat over a medium heat until it thickens.
Place in containers and refrigerate until set.

  • Fruit with ice cream – the ice cream is a treat in our house.

  • Caramel dumplings with cream, it’s so rich though so they don’t have it all the time :)

  • custard and warm goodies in winter, ice-cream in summer

  • My kids loved anything sweet! But one dessert that sticks in my mind that they would eat til the cows came home……..rockmelon chunks with yoghurt and ice cream. Sometimes different sprinkles were added or a topping, but mostly not

  • Both of my kids love custard. Any flavour as long as its custard

  • Chocolate self saucing pudding – probably because we hardly ever have it!

  • Chocolate cake with strawberries on top.

  • The kids in this house love jelly with a scoop of ice-cream, & I’m not going to lie, so does Mummy! Add a chocolate frog & you’re in for a real treat!
Butterfly cupcakes are also another fave dessert.
