My bub slept through from about 8 months and my niece slept through from 2 months old but my twins didn’t until close to 2.5 years… Lucky me! Not! When and if did your bub sleep through the night?

  • Hard question to answer. My kids sort of when through phases where they would sleep through and then resort to waking regularly. I reckon for solid blocks of sleeping through the night was around 2 years old

  • He did it once when he was about a week old and then every night at ten weeks old. It was so great!

  • From about six weeks from D1 and two and a half months for D2

  • 2 years for all my kids!

  • My daughter’s sleep during the night really improved once she went onto solids at about 5 months of age.

  • at 2 1/2 my son still doesn’t – my 6 year old is still constantly getting up several nights a week. So I never know what a proper nights sleep is myself.

  • Gosh, I was so sleep deprived I’m not sure I remember. I think it was around the time they were put on solids, so around 4-5 months I suppose

  • mine were at different ages but it all settles around 2 years when they learn routine.

  • I’m a lucky mum and my baby has started sleeping through, usually for around 8 hours, from four months. And this is with long naps during the day.

  • My first bub slept through from about 3 months, bubs 2,3,4 around 2 years! #5 is 2.5 years and still wakes and my baby is 8 months and doesn’t sleep through either, eeeek!

  • It will be interesting to see when my little boy decides to sleep all the way through

  • Initially, not until around 9 months. Having said that, we still had midnight visits on and if until 6 years old. Young kids have active minds and vivid dreams. I found acknowledging that something scary woke her was the best way to get her back to bed easily.

  • My boy started sleeping through the night at around 8 months. I consider myself lucky! ;)

  • Yay I am not alone with the not wanting to sleep through the night.

  • Both my boys were around 2yrs when they slept through most nights.
