Some babies are born with their first teeth. Others start teething before they are 4 months old, and some after 12 months. But most babies start teething at around 6 months.
I have four children and they all started at different times. My youngest was about 5 months, I had another about 9 months, another at 7 months and a late bloomer at 13 months!!
I know this can vary. In my mummies group the youngest was 4 months old and the latest was about 8 months. It’s hard to say but when you feel them bite down, you’ll know!
I am not sure why but everyone used to worry a lot about teething . When will it start and if it will be painful etc etc.. I think my kids started around 6 mths onwards and you can see the teeth protruding and it starts having the first two front ones then followed by two bottom ones . Make sure they drink heaps of water and calcium as good for the bones in general .
