  • Most babies start smiling around 6 to 12 weeks, it’s also an exciting time for their development. Baby’s vision and facial recognition is improving, and they’re outgrowing their early reflexes. They’re also beginning to express feelings, such as excitement or contentment.

  • smiles right from birth are apparently because of gas haha but real smiles when looking at you was around 3/4 months

  • My baby started smiling in sleep right from day 2 from birth. However, she stated recognising and smiling at me around age 5 weeks.

  • Around 4 weeks we got proper smiles. Otherwise from day 1 you can get wind smiles
