When is the best time to start toilet training?

Hello!

I have a 16 month old and was planning to start around 2 years old, however, I have heard about people starting earlier – what is your experience with this? When is the best time to start?

I think the earlier the better though it depends how persistent you are and how quickly they pick it up as a habit

I found around 2yrs to work best. My kids didn’t really understand until then. It’s also easiest in warmer months. Each child is different watch them for cues and it can’t hurt to try earlier if you think they’re ready.
