  • My 2 were about the same age starting around 2 1/2 yrs. I waited till they showed interest and they had a smaller seat that fit the toilet. They loved it was our reading time. We had a heap of books and some old magazines we would cut out pictures of cars and put up to talk about. They were car mad and still are. I let them run outside without nappies so they would learn about piddling and found nappies slowed the process in the end so they sat on towels inside and I found I watched for the signs of not standing still and I knew they had to go. I just trained my daughter… harder than the boys I thought.

  • My little boy was day dry at 20 months. It was so easy but in don’t exactly remember how I achieved it. Pretty sure I did it summer so he could go nappy free made it easier for him

  • I am currently in the process of training my 3yr old son. we have waited until he started to show an interest (watching us in the toilet, telling us when he pooped or wee’d) and then asked him if he wanted to wear jocks like daddy. We went shopping and he picked out a few pairs. The only issue i am having is that alot of his pants have buttons and zippers and he has trouble pulling his pants down.

  • I started my boys when they started to show interest! I brought them cool undies… Disney Cars ones. I chose summertime and went cold turkey. Both boys were 3/3.5yrs old.
I put the potty outside, undies on took out a book and let them play. I just kept asking every 10 minutes do you want to see if you can do a wee in the potty? Sometimes they would try and nothing but when they did it was HUUUUGE song and dance, hugs and kisses, high fives and a small treat! With plenty of accidents after about a week they both got it.
