Where are the best places to buy board games at bargain prices? Which shops have a good range of board games?

  • Look I’m a fan of re-sale in all it’s forms, including ebay. We bought a few board games of e-bay that were used but in good condition. I think it’s great way not to waste buying new stuff. Board games only have a certain shelf life at home before people get bored, so then we sell or give away our old stuff too.

  • I always google and compare prices

  • I too would say Aldi or K-Mart, or try online companies.

  • Thanks for the Aldi tip mom166662 – a terrific idea. Will take a look at Aldi.

  • Kmart or Aldi.. I have four kids so always on the look out for things to keep them occupied. Kmart always has great range of puzzles too and Aldi brings puzzles and sometimes board games here and there but leading up to Christmas I’m sure they would soon

  • Thanks for the answers – will check out the local newsagency too – good tips! :)

  • I have sometimes found good board games a newsagencies – usually they are expensive, but every now and again they will get rid of old stock and reduce the price dramatically.

  • You could check in eBay!

  • Op shops, garage sales and local markets if cheap is what you want. I’ve found KMart and Target and the like have a good range of family board games for all ages. Toy shops are pretty good too.
