  • We buy lots of hand made knitted tops for toddlers and children from the op shop. My wife love her knitted clothing for our kids and she finds many and at a good price too.

  • Sometimes asking at your local market or FB buy sell swap can find you some, there are some crafters out there who make things but don’t know how to go about selling them.

  • facebook or local markets are great to check out.

  • I find if you go to your local markets there is usually a store there you can buy handmade clothes from :)

  • Thank you for your answers

  • Try school fetes too as there are lots of knitted goods on offer at fetes.

  • I agree with the CWA and markets. You can also try Madeit and Etsy online.

  • I agree with the CWA and markets. You can also try Maseit and Etsy online.

  • The CWA & local markets will have Oz products.

  • Try Ebay & Facebook!!!
Soooo many people have little Facebook stores now & it’s amazing some of the things people can make.
Sometimes hospital gift shops stock baby knit wear, you could enquire as to their supplier :)

  • I love hand knitted baby clothes – but agree – so hard to find. I look in op shops but the best ive found is the CWA. Lovely ladys make these gorgeous, time consuming clothing and the price is fantastic. And they always love a chat! And Beautiful hand knitted blankets and toys ive found for as little as $5! Amazing women at the CWA.
Or another option could be your local hospitals auxiliary shop??? I haven’t tried this but have heard they sell hand knitted clothing.

  • Local markets or the country women’s assoc may have stall around xmas.

  • Knitted stuff for kids is not a common sight nowadays. Babies you see a little for. I knit my own. I’m sure you’ld be able to find something on eBay though. I’ve also seen knitted products at local markets for a good price

  • all i can suggest it to check out your local craft markets on the weekends.
