Hello!

Hi there!

Every time I look in a homewares store for good cushions, they seems to be SO expensive. For a bit of filling and two squares of fabric, they cost so much.

Tell me where can I find good cushions that aren’t too expensive? Has anyone else found a good range of cushions that look and feel like good quality, and are a good price?

Thank you!

  • Maybe check marketplace on Facebook. Also any stylist business t hat uses latest season cushions for displays only.

  • My first go to would be Kmart and iKea

  • I’ve found some really nice cushion covers in op shops. It’s cheap to buy the inserts.

  • Kmart has some great ones! If you are near a King Kong sales, they might also have some nice ones (they have everything else!)

  • My first thought would be Kmart or Big W.

  • Of all places I found some great cushions at the stacks cheap shop. They are firm, good size and wear really well and were only $10 each. If you dont like the design they are cheap enough you could buy pillow cases to fit over.

  • H&M home have gorgeous and glamorous cushion covers for very cheap. I just got a gorgeous velvet cover for $5 and just need to add a cheap cushion filling next time spotlight has a sale. $50 look for $10

  • H & M home sell cushion covers which start from around $8. I love being able to refresh the look without having to store extra cushion inserts. Also Ikea have some feather filling inserts really cheap (in case you want the luxury of feather insert without the big price tag).

  • Consider buying an inexpensive cushion insert (eg Big W), and then cushion covers separately – that’s often cheaper.

  • When spotlight have their sales

  • If u have old cushions I would just buy the covers

  • I got mine from Kmart. Affordable and nice.

  • I found some great ones at Target. Reasonable price and great range.

  • Definitely Kmart

  • I actually found ALL of my lounge room pillows at 2nd hand stores such as the salvos. Sure, you need to sift through the duds but I found some good quality branded ones and saved heaps. The most I paid was $6 and hey are plump and look great.
