  • also depends on secure or non-secured loans.

  • Haven’t taken one out yet, just thought I’d ask and research some more

  • I will shop around and do my best to find what is right for our family

  • Shop around. I have always found the credit unions good. There are some good comparison sites around, I would utilize them to ensure you get the best deal possible. Good luck.

  • It depends what the loan is for. Our last personal loan was through the racv. Interest rates were cheaper than the bank

  • You’d better use a comparison site like iSelect.

  • Always had mine from a bank or building society. Shop around and ask for best rates. Most will reduce rates by a small amount if asked.

  • I have recently rang around for a car loan. The Commonwealth Bank had the best deal, made better if you were a customer. Bendigo Bank was close behind. You need to look at interest rates, loan repayment terms, loan protection, set up costs, monthly fees and early exit fees

  • It really does depend on the amount and what the loan is for and the term of your loan. Online loan calculators can help with comparing different banks, credit unions and other financial institutions. Might be worth looking at these for advice too?
