I am not particularly loyal to a certain brand – I purchase nappies when they are on special and am always on the look out for the best deals. Just wondering if any mums out there have any recommendations on where to find the best deals, or which nappies are the best value in general? Do you know where to buy the cheapest nappies?

  • We only use cloth nappies. After the initial purchase cost there is no ongoing costs apart from some extra washing. Never run out, better for the environment and my pocket.

  • Costco nappies are among the cheaper and effective; Target used to do a good home brand range; and Aldi’s are good.

  • I’ve always bought nappies on special with my two kids and saved $$ . These days they are everywhere now and they even have their own chemist brands . I used to always find specials at Coles or Woolies and mainly stuck to Huggies only because for some reason the cheaper ones leaked all the time and ended up cleaning the baby and the beds. Try the chemist /home brands if you are testing and looking for cheapies . It might work for you really well .

  • I would suggest Aldi. I bought my sons nappies and formula from there and they were always the cheapest and best quality.

  • I look for specials at chemist warehouse, often snugglers go on sale but otherwise the kmart nappies are great quality for dollar & in-between I go Aldi but find with boys they can leak more than others so I use more.

  • I heard the Aldi ones are great! Otherwise sometimes if you buy bulk they are cheaper!

  • sometimes toyrs r us or my local pharmacy. cheap ones are comfy bots

  • Baby love is good, also comfy bot.
woollies hold the leaks but smell of urine and feel lumpy.
my local chemist Gregs has baby love or $25
also toyrs r us often have sales

  • I find babylove the best for my child (although every brand seems to suit different children). I buy it by the large box when on special. I think there is some bulk nappy places online if you google.

  • Dollar shop!

  • Woolworths select are fantastic and only about $24 a box. If you have an everyday rewards card and are a member of the woolworths baby and toddler club they have regular specials on them too.

  • The best product is Huggies but the cheapest one Aldi product.

  • I too recommend huggies purely because they provide the best comfort and protection, to save money I buy in bulk when they are on special

  • We found Huggies suited our children best, protecting their skin, being more water absorbent for longer, which means happier babies. On the cheaper ones the tags come off easily etc and they need replacing sooner. A false economy. Huggies can be bought in bulk and are often on special,

  • Where did you end up buying them from?
