Hello!

Kmart, Target and Big W all have those $1 bubble wands now and I was wondering which is the best one. Which one makes the most bubbles!

  • We’ve used them all ( my daughter LOVES bubbles) and they all seem pretty much the same to me. We actually buy the big bottle of bubbles mix and refill them when they run out.

  • I’m not sure. But I would think a consideration would be the quality if the bubble mix. I’ve noticed the cheap versions don’t make many and they lack quality

  • K-mart $1 bubbles!
We buy x5 per week and now have over 40 laying around.
    My little boy loves them!

  • The $1 dollar bubble wands are all the same really. I have to admit that I don’t find them to be really great for producing heaps of bubbles – it’s a bit hit and miss. However, you can’t really argue with $1 dollar!

  • The wands are all the same. You can even improvise with the wand by getting anything with holes or a circle in it.

  • we have tried a lot of brands and have not had a bad one.

  • We buy the Kmart ones but they don’t last long as the kids keep pooring the bubble mix out.

  • i might try adding the glycerin. thanks for the tip

  • Some moms have mentioned making you own bubble mix which is fine but whether you make it or purchase it a little glycerin added to the mix holds and creates stronger bubbles. :-)

  • I think the trick is the bubble mixture not really the wand,

  • I thought they were all the same brand

  • We have purchased these wands in various different places and I have never noticed much difference in them. All seem to work fine and entertain my kids just the same! :-)

  • I get the wands from cheap as chips they seem to work fine

  • i bought the big w ones and they were fine. Also make up more bubble mixture for the containers. If you get pipe cleaners, you can make your own wands. we make circles and star shapes and the kids love it. i also add food colouring to the water for an added layer of fun.

  • I make my own refill mixture, 1/2 cup of dishliquid, 1 cup of water & 2 teaspoons of sugar. So easy to refill the wands & much cheaper.
