Hello!

Hello, can I please get you to ask your fans which dummy is best for a breast feeding bubba. My new son wants to suck off to sleep during the day and I’m breastfeeding, so want to minimise any interference that may occur. Believe me it is a last resort. Thanks in advance.

  • I tried a few different ones and found that Nuk is one of the best, she won’t have any other. Sleeps all night by the way and she’s just gone 1 and a half

  • I liked Avent ones.

  • There are so many varieties out there, it’s probably a case of trial and error. My little boy had a dummy when he was being breastfed, but gave it up after about 2 weeks as he didn’t want it. He still settled without it though.

  • i like the gumdrop dummies. its what my son learnt to suck with. attached is a pic. the hospitals use these for preemie babies

  • There is nothing wrong with giving baby a dummy, dont sweat it we used avent ones and had no trouble, but my 7 months bubs had spat the dummy and moved on.

  • Avent ones are fairly good

  • did you find what you were looking for?

  • A good one to ask your health nurse or midwife

  • Did you find a dummy that worked better for you?

  • Trial different ones and see which one is best for your bub
