Hello!

I’m looking for a person figurine/toy which my son (two years old) can use to sit on his toy cars, boats, trucks etc. Something with bendable joints would be fantastic. Roughly around 10cm in height.

  • Browse the toy stores – there are quite a lot around, but you’ll have to eyeball them to see if they’re right for you.

  • C’mon buzz and woody !!! We all love toy story.

  • my son loves spiderman, and lego men, but really its up to your son, ask him?

  • My grandkids use the Lego figures for their play here & sometimes even little soft toy animals. Kids will always use their own imagination though.

  • It depends on his interests and likes. I would go along to a toy story and let him explore and then get advice from floor sales staff.

  • Fisher Price little people don’t bend but are versatile otherwise… perhaps Woody from Toy Story?

  • My boys love spider man and transformers and ninja turtles but they also love their Buzz and Woody dolls too.

  • i have given my son a spider man! he loves it and now he has a buzz but buzz is much bigger than 10cms. you can get small toy story figures. ninja turtles. be careful of small parts in regards to your child’s age

  • My son loved his teddy the came Buzz Light-year and that was that. He never wanted anything else. He still has both and he is 18. It depends on how old your son is as to what they like. A toy department is a great place to start put a couple of figures in front of him and let him pick. Two or three at the most.

  • Check out toy shops, or toy sections in big departments stores you will be able to find what you are looking for. You don’t say how old he is, he may be happy to have you make him some sock people, wrap pipe cleaners with wadding and then use stretch fabric or socks to create the head, body arms and legs, stitch on goggle eyes or buttons, some marker pen, fabric paint or sew a mouth nose and ears, he may not even care if there is no face at all. You could have him involved in selecting from craft store the items for features if you want to do that, make clothes shoes hats, depending on your skill level. You may find it such fun and make several dolls for his cars and trucks.
