Hello!

After pregnancy my stomach wont go flat like how it use to, after a meal it always protrudes and sticks out. Does anyone else have this problem?

  • I went back to my pre-baby weight but my tummy wasn’t as flat as before.

  • Even though my weight is 45kg, mine isn’t flat ;)

  • You can try exercises and clean eating, but personally I thin k it’s normal the belly isn’t as flat as before children.

  • Everyone struggles with same issue. Try core strengthening exercises like pilates

  • Yes have you tried a tummy belt?

  • If it’s only after a meal it could be the amount you are eating ot a type of intolerance ie gluten intolerance. Have you had your stomach muscles checked to see if they reconnected? I had a 3cm gap after my baby. Pelvic floor exercises are meant to help (not situps they make it worse).

  • I noticed flattening in my stomach finally after doing pilates, yoga and stomach crunches. Will be doing the same thing after my second baby is born.

  • I had the bump for a little while but after I started toning my stomach muscles and walking all the time, my stomach went flat again. It will never look the same because of a few stretchmarks I got from pregnancy but it’s almost the same as it was before.

  • hope that you find these comments helpful. i agree with toning the abs

  • mine went back after first baby- but i was training daily and clean eating to get in shape before my wedding. now after 2nd baby its harder, that bump certainly is annoying, but oh well. im sure you still look great!

  • However; you can work on muscles and strengthening.

  • Sorry; does not look the same!

  • yeah i hear ya! i have this bump too. just never the same lol

don’t stress, you could try spanks or that contouring underwear. i was using a belly band after pregnancy and still got a little bump but i wonder what it would be like without it. my mum never had this bump lol. i think that it is just stretched out abs. maybe working out these muscles will tone it up. some ladies bellies look amazing after pregnancy though. also i don’t know when you had your baby but give it time to all get back to normal. this can take awhile maybe 6 months or so, i’m guessing
