  • I think it’s good to remain cautious

  • We are still pretty normal here in WA but once the borders open on the 5th I think I will be staying home a lot more to be honest.

  • Not anymore.. idiots are ruining it for everyone i know. Its such a hard time – i think we will never be the way we were.

  • I have hardly left home. I’ve been to one Dr. appt. They had security at the entrance and weren’t letting in anybody who had any symptoms of COVID19 or flu in. Apparently there is a designated place in s nearby suburb. Testing at SA Hospitals is only done if they are suspicious you are likely to have the virus. I’ve been to the Pharmacy and shopping during allocated pensioner and seniors time only when I have run out of perishable food. A friend of mine has been doing the rest of my shopping, ringing my bell, waiting for me to answer and leaving it at the door. I am having my medications delivered so I don’t have to go and collect them at all. I have been for a few short walks to stop my muscles and ligaments getting stiff but I go when most people would be eating their evening meal or watching the TV News. It wax recommended because I was getting stiff and sore. My back yard is tiny and the pavers have become uneven so the footpaths in the long street are a safer place to walk. I have been keeping in touch with relatives and friends by phone, email and facebook

  • I didn’t do things that differently. I always kept my distance from people haha. I am happy the kids are back at school though.

  • My life hasn’t really changed. Apart from the hand sanitizing and people limits in some stores, that’s it

  • Not really. I think the extra handwashing is here to stay. I never liked crowds so wont be seeking them out. The kids (well teenagers) are back at school and bringing home sniffles. Before that I’d never felt better; went weeks without any cold/sniffle and felt great. It will be a whole new world when they leave school / home. I’m actually permanently looking forward to less germs in the house! So the restrictions have helped me see how much ‘stuff’ is spread in community and there are some things that will always be different for me now.

  • No, I’m planning on staying away from people as much as I can.

  • My partner and I have been very cautious and have decided to only see people who have self isolated when not working. Since the restrictions eased we visited both of our families. When more restrictions eased we visited some friends still abiding by social distancing rules. We used to see our family and friends every weekend but will only be doing it every second weekend now. Of course, still not visiting those who are unwell or having visitors ourself if we are unwell. Being in self isolation for 3 months has made my anxiety very hard to deal with. I went to the shops for the first time to get groceries and was overwhelmed by the amount of people who were there and not abiding by the 1.5m rule. I ended up leaving the shops without my groceries because of how overwhelming it all was.

  • We will be more respectful of people and the space they need. I have educated my elderly parents as to the benefits of staying at home and only going out if it is essential. We recently took a trip to see family in the country who have self isolated. No Covid down there at all. Taking all precautions no hand shakes and hugs but good conversation and a meal together was just what they needed to feel normal. As soon as more restrictions are lifted we will travel to more family members. We plan on having more family reunions as not seeing family was really hard. Phoning them of course was important but not being able to come and go was hard. If your sick stay at home and get tested. Easy!

  • I hope that post covid19 we have learnt what is really important…family time, homemade meals and learning new skills.
I also hope that it has identified the need for regaining our independence and being less reliant on other markets. It’s time to get patriotic and look after our own!

  • I am most excited that I can see family and friends and travel a little further for a visit to the beach :)

  • We will still be wary of places with larger crowds etc, but definitely looking forward to a meal out at some stage (someone else cooking and washing pots is my idea of heaven!)

  • Probably won’t change too much except on where I go walking lol
I was back at work this week, which was a great feeling. I’m hanging out to meet 3 new babies though now restrictions have eased, one being a niece

  • Because of my and my hubbies work commitments, our kids have been at school 4 days a week (except for school holidays), but apart from school, we are enjoying our little bubble and no running around to sports and other activities. We will just see my mum & in-laws to keep up contact but apart from that we are content.
