  • Nice to read all the different ways we do it :)

  • I have an Oates squeegee with an extendable handle.

  • I use a broom dipped in soapy water and the garden hose! I dont bother drying them, they clear up as long as the water is hot and not too dirty!

  • A splash of metho in a bucket of hot water and then a rub with a soft cloth works for me. An old tee shirt is really good for this.

  • I find using paper towel leaves fibres behind and much prefer and use Ellen’s method.

  • In our cleaning business we use hot water with detergent and a little bit of white vinegar with a window cleaner/squeegee. For the windows that are eye level I usually use white vinegar and soft paper towel to get a streak free window.
At home we use windex with paper towels

  • I get hubby to do it. Although he uses Vinegar and water and then drys it off with newspaper. They always come up sparkling.

  • Also; I choose a gentle detergent that does not impact on the ground below.

  • I usually use a sponge and squeegee first and then I spray them with a bit of vinegar and use newspaper to wipe over them.

  • My mum always taught me first sponge it with Washing-up Detergent, then sponge it with diluted vinegar and dry it with news paper. But often enough I just do it with diluted vinegar

  • A bucket of warm soapy water and a sponge and a whole lot of scrubbing followed by a quick hose down.

  • i use the car glass cleaner. works perfectly.

  • Hot water and vinegar is my way to go. Not that I enjoy it though! ;-)

  • Rise with water, scrub dirt and rise it again. (Use garden hose if you have one)
Then clean with dish washer liquid and wiped it with microfiber cloth or use some old clothes.

  • 50/50 White vinegar/tap water and a Squeegee wiper.
