Hello!

Wondering what is your opinion on raising a child in a goth home with both parents adopting the gothic culture. The bubs room is basically black.
Rosemary’s baby here they come.
Seriously for me I feel bubs and children should enjoy all the joys of natures rainbow.

  • If the child is not being harmed or abused in any way then yes, bite your tongue. How people raise their children is no one else’s business

  • Unfortunately I think you have to bite your tongue, unless you have evidence of abuse.

  • I think as long as the baby USC well loved and cared for, there shouldn’t be an issue

  • Tricky one, depends how close you are the parents, if they were close friends I’d be bombarding them with rainbows and butterflies just to get a raise out of them. But as long as there are no graphically violent images bub will thrive in any environment where he is loved and secure. Kids will also make their own opinions known pretty early too.

  • As long as the child is well looked after and loved I don’t think there is a problem. Children don’t spend that much time in their rooms. I dont think you should say anything. Unless you are very concerned of course.

  • as long as it is a loving family who feed, clothe and provide a roof over their head the child already has a better home than some children. if it isn’t hurting the child no i don’t think there is any reason to speak up.

  • Are these people your friends then yes i would speak out my concern, but when they aren’t your friends I wouldn’t.

  • As much as its each parents choice to raise their child as they wish this seems a bit extreme and I can’t help but wonder if a black room among other things could hinder the baby’s development. Is there someone that could back you up, like a maternal health nurse or health care practitioner?

  • A black room does seem a bit strange for a baby but it is their child and home!
