  • With my first I wanted blue for a boy but now with the talk of having number 2 I wish I just got greys for the newborn stage so if I had different genders i wouldn’t have to buy new clothes.

  • I preferred neutral colours and didn’t like traditional colours at all, unless they were super bright :)

  • I definitely prefer gender neutral colours. Whites, caramels, browns, beige. I’m very basic with colour selections, however the older they get the harder it is to stick to the unisex colours.
We had a surprise gender but when everyone found out we had a girl we were gifted with only pink clothes, because that’s just what people think a little girl should wear.
Except my daughter (almost 2) has 2 favourite tee shirts, one being a Reece Plumbing shirt (because her daddy wears one) and the other being a white tee with the stencil of a holden ute.

  • I suppose it doesn’t matter too much and I would get clothes that weren’t necassarily pink or blue if you have left it a surprise what the sex is if your baby

  • I was given a lot of clothes so just used what I had.

  • I didn’t find out the sex of my babies so I had unisex ones. Then bought pink or blue after birth

  • It depends on what you can find that is unisex. I just went shopping for baby clothescand I wish I knew the babies sex as the only unisex outfit was banana yellow. There are not heaps of options.

  • I went unisex colours but I did buy a boys beanie and a girls beanie for the hospital for them to wear

  • We went multicoloured, if it was cute or suited we bought it didn’t confine to one color

  • I liked unisex colours like red and green as well as traditional colours
