Mum celebrates breastfeeding journey with her nine month old daughter by participating in a hilarious photo shoot.

Kayla Seitz, mum to 9-month-old Sophie, celebrated with a hilarious photo shoot of her baby dressed in a shark costume, devouring a breast.

That’s right. Her little “Sophie Shark” was snapped chomping on a boob-shaped cake, complete with bloody red icing inside.

“Here’s to surviving nine months of breastfeeding,” she told POPSUGAR.

“Since Sophie has started teething, my family has called her Sophie Shark because she is harsh with the . . . ninny. I had to do some cute photos to remind me how painful [it is] and to not have any more kids!”

The photos were shot by Iga Logan Photography.

Kayla joked, “Don’t bite the boob that feeds you.”

Ouchie! Remember that?

  • lot of the young ones have big 18th birthday parties now. Some have “flown the nest” and may even be overseas when they are 21. No breastfeeding Mum enjoys breastfeeding if bitten too often especially when little teeth are really pointy and sharp. It’s bad enough if they bite your finger and make it bleed.

  • The baby is going to hate that when she grows up… no one wants to be reminded they sucked on their mums boob!

  • haha yes when they start getting teeth, it can hurt a lot. Just a nice reminder to have them latch properly or no boob. Got to 21months with baby 1 and have a 5month old now. So happy I could breastfeed at all, let alone do so well.
But for those that aren’t fans, don’t let that stop you from having more babies, it is ok to decide to stick to formula.
