Mum left stunned to discover the baby doll she bought for her toddler, swears!

The My Little BABY Born Walks doll is described as a walking doll that can say ‘Mama’ and ‘Papa’ when voice activated, shares Daily Mail.

However, when Aria opened it, her mother Rachael Horton was appalled to hear it apparently utter the word ‘b****’.

Ms Horton, from Birmingham, said: ‘When we took the doll out of the box and started playing with it, I couldn’t believe what we heard.

‘She’s supposed to say “Mama” and “Papa” but instead she seems to be saying “you b****”.

‘Now my two year old is copying her and trying to say “b****” herself. ‘I’m shocked, especially as it’s very clear what the doll is saying.’

She is demanding the store takes the product off the shelves.

She said: ‘I spoke to customer services via an online chat and, to be honest, they weren’t very helpful. ‘They just said it’s best to come in and change it, which I don’t think is acceptable.

‘I don’t want to just switch it for something else. My daughter is only two, I don’t want her hearing words like that.’

Recently a children’s TV show airing on Netflix has come under fire as it appears to feature a very rude drawing in the background. Read that story HERE.

  • You’d certainly think they’d need to check all the dolls.

  • Interested to know if it’s an isolated incident or if all the dolls are the same, the latter being the case, then it should definitely be removed from the shelves.

  • How did this word even get on the doll? Is it the only doll that swears.? Very strange indeed. I would be making this doll ‘disappear’ if it was in my home

  • Why would the doll say that in the first place? Was someone playing games at the factory and sent out a naughty one? Odd.

  • Hm, not a pretty word to play in front of your toddler.

  • Should had exchanged as the store said. At that age children will try to copy words or sounds they hear.

  • Somebody else already mentioned what I was thinking – it could be a prank played by an ex emoyee of the company. Wonder also why mum had the doll continually saying the word in front of the little girl, even if for the purpose of filming.

    • I find that quite confronting too!! Then of course the child tries to repeat the words.

  • Hmm you have to wonder sometimes if stories like this are true or if some people are out for their 15 minutes of fame…

  • Hope it gets resolved quickly if it is a single fault or a batch fault. Honestly surprised the Mother didn’t remove it from toddlers possession straight away or remove the batteries.

  • A doll you do not what to buy for your children!

  • Its probably a disgruntled employee playing pranks.

  • Wow! That’s certainly an odd thing to get through quality control!

  • Oh! Not nice at all. Was it a defect then or all the dolls say the same?
