Hello!

I’ll do anything to try and convince my kids to eat more fruit and veggies. So I can’t wait to try this brilliant sticker hack next time I’m in the supermarket. I’m pretty sure it’s going to work.

A clever mum has come up with a simple but sneaky sticker hack to persuade her children to eat more fruit and veggies…and all you’ll need is some stickers.

Parenting Blogger, Jan Stine, shared her crafty sticker hack, after getting frustrated with her kids for shunning healthier food options.

Try This Sticker Hack Next Time You’re At The Shops

She shared that she now takes Disney-themed stickers to the shops and them surreptitiously sticks them onto the fruit and vegetables to make them look more appealing to her kids.

Jane explains in her post:

“Here’s my best parenting hack”, she says.

“You know how kids always want Paw Patrol yogurt or Disney waffles or whatever? Bring your own stickers to the grocery store and start sticking.”

“Today we’re having Winnie the Pooh brand spaghetti squash. It goes perfectly with Toy Story broccoli.”

She accompanied the post with a picture of a yellow squash with a Winnie the Pooh bear sticker on it.

  • I don’t serve them veggies they don’t like I hide them in spag bol and patties and only those they enjoy as a veggie

  • They would undoubtedly have fun running round spotting the produce with the fun stickers. But it wouldn’t make them eat it once it was cooked up and put on a plate

  • This just wouldn’t have worked with my kids. They are stubborn (just like me!) and if they don’t like something, even the look of it, they won’t eat it no matter what.

  • Thankfully my kids are pretty good with eating fruit and veggies. Occasionally my son is a bit fussy and I find grating veggies and putting them into a pasta bake or casserole helps because they can’t really see them
