Mums are going crazy for this simple homemade trick to help soothe teething pain.

After one mum shared her easy solution to help little ones suffering teething pain her clever idea went viral.

Posting on The Parent Pack Facebook group, the mum uploaded a photo of her trick using baking paper on a tray and squeezing baby fruit puree from a pouch.

The mum created different shapes including simple lines, circles, hearts and stars.

“Squeeze yummy baby pouches onto greaseproof paper on a tray and pop in the freezer for fun, frozen, yummy teethers,” she wrote to the group.

“So soothing on baby gums.”

The post attracted 17,000 comments. Mums have also shared their own little tricks as well.

“I did this with breast milk my little one loved it.”

Some mums also suggested blending your own fruits and vegies as a much cheaper option.

Others have warned mums to be careful of the size and be mindful of choking hazards.

Genius idea!

  • Great idea – the cold really helps with those teething problems. As for them melting – isn’t that what bibs are for? Or have they too gone out of fashion? I know they were very helpful with my family.

  • Good idea, but des it get messy as it melts?

  • I wonder how long before they start melting and getting messy? I suppose no different to self feeding, or even upchucking haha. Clever and could make different flavours.
