Especially in the cooler months we used t-shirts rather than singlets. We found singlets tended to “roll up” and be bulky under their backs. Sometimes he even had little red marks on his back from it.
The t-shirts always stayed down flat. When baby gets to the toddler stage they are also better under pjs to give extra warmth especially if the blankets don’t stay where they are keeping junior warm. Might be a coincidence but there was less colds and bronchitis when we started using that method. Just a thought. It may not be practical for all families………You need a stroller than wheels well. Some do not wheel around corners well at all. It has to be light enough that you fold it up and open it up fairly easily and isn’t too heavy to lift into your car boot. The cheap ones that have a small seat and just a strap for feet to rest on are not good at all. It gets to a stage where the position of your baby ‘toddler’s legs get pins and needles. You have an upset little one who doesn’t want to stay in the stroller at a much younger age.
