Hello!

Just because bars, pubs and dine-in restaurants are closed, doesn’t mean you have to miss out on cocktail hour. Now with most of us in home isolation, your favourite tipple is coming straight to you – that’s right cocktails delivered to your doorstep.

The Cocktail Club is has joined forces with the best bars across the city to deliver a different cocktail to you each week for a month! We love that by joining the club, we are supporting local drink-spots that are desperately struggling during this lockdown, as well as joining a delicious drink.

Top bartenders will sort your weekend fix so you can kick back, relax and sample your regular favourites!

Each weekend (either Friday or Saturday) the bar will create and deliver the perfect cocktail straight to your door. On the menu will be much-loved classics as well as unique specials.

You can order a weekly delivery for one person for one month for $66 or for two months for $130. If you want to increase your delivery for two people (or if you want a double portion, just because you can!!!), this will cost $128 for 1 month and $250 for two months.

Different Alcohol

Each week, there is a different alcohol showcased. Week one is gin, week 2 is vodka, week 3 is rum and week 4 is whiskey. The featured bartender will then create a cocktail based on the kind of alcohol.

At the moment, this service is only available to those living in Sydney CBD, Eastern Suburbs & The Inner West. Customers must be over 18 to order.

Cocktail Boxes

However, if you’re outside of Sydney, you can order from Cocktail Porter, which offers a fabulous cocktail subscription service, delivered every quarter. The next seasonal box is Strawberry Fields Kir Royal themed. Dry sparkling wine is paired with Tanqueray London Dry Gin, aromatic strawberry tea and blueberry and blackcurrant cordial. Every cocktail box features the key ingredients to make bartender-designed cocktails and step-by-step simple instructions to guide you. Each box will make between 14 to 18 cocktails. You can also order a once-off cocktail box, bottled cocktails, gift-boxes and more.

  • I wouldn’t use it but great for those that would like it

  • Wow sounds like a good idea

  • I’ve been reading about this service and wondered just how many people have cocktails delivered. Surely it would be cheaper in the long run to make your own.

  • Not a service we would use at this time.

  • Sounds like an interesting idea, can’t say I’d use it

  • A lot of businesses trying to think outside the box. I probably wouldn’t get a permanent subscription but might try it for one month since we will be isolated for quite some time.
Ps: a Canberra business is doing whisky deliveries each Friday and supply a log on account to do a virtual tasting discussion.. that’s next level thinking outside of the box

  • Interesting concept – Not one I would use but good to see some creative ideas out there.

  • I don’t think we will need them delivered. I shared a social media story with hubby this morn, about bottle shops closing as of midnight tonight due to Covid19. I forgot to send the follow up message “April Fool!” Hubby came home with so many bottles and boxes of alcohol, I think we are set for quite a while

  • Um, no thanks for delivery. If I feel like one, I’ll make my own. Perhaps nice for a treat or special occasion whilst we’re in isolation, but wouldn’t want to make a habit of it.

  • Cocktails tend to be a party drink for me, so not really a thing I need or want right now.

  • This would be fun – perhaps when we’re allowed to have people over again!

    • Good point! It will happen in the future. :)

  • Lucky Sydney – Hope other cities will do this too. Thanks for sharing.

  • It’s a great idea but I not for me as I can’t drink alcohol. I know a few who would love this
