Highchair recalled due to risk of fall and injury.

Bloom and Grow have recalled the popular Skip Hop Tuo convertible high chair.

There are concerns the legs may detach from the seat, resulting in fall and serious injury.

This recall only involves units with a limited series of date codes, sold between December 2016 and September 2017.

Affected product date codes include:  HH10/2016, HH11/2016, HH3/2017 and HH4/2017.

Stop using affected high chairs immediately. Consumers should call 0427 729 540 or email june@bloomandgrow.com.au.

  • The legs look as though they are pushed in, not “twisted” or screwed in. Compared to the weight of what the seat and back would be the legs don’t look sturdy enough regardless of how they are attached. The centre fitting on the underneath of the tray looks wierd too. There is also no support at all to put your foot/feet on to pevent the highchair from sliding on the floor while you are lifting baby out.

  • What happened to all the stringent rules that are meant to be in place. So many items for children being recalled. Hopefully no child has been injured in one of these chairs
