Pink is currently touring Australia with her family and openly cherishes all the little moments with her kids Jameson and Willow. Like this hilarious snap for instance, that sums up parenting well…

Carey Hart shared the photo on Instagram with the caption…

“Dude, can I just take a shit?? Family meetings always have to happen when I’m pissing off IG>”

Parents have soon jumped on sharing how familiar this sight really is…

“We have 5 kiddos and there is no such thing as a closed door!!”

“No you can’t.”

“This is just the story of a day in the life of EVERY parent, everywhere! No more privacy!”

“I hear ya loud and clear!”

“WHEW!!!!! I was worried I was the only guy who sits on the throne with my 13 month daughter crawling around my feet hahaha GREAT post brotha!!!”

“That is most moms every day. Kids always need you when you are in the bathroom.”

“Oh my god, btw it will never change, our little one is about to be in high school this year and she still wants to bug me while I am on the loo”

“After becoming a parent: no solo shits !”

The joys of parenthood!

  • People are not always the “intruders”. Forget the shut the door and you may get a visit by your cats that are locked inside overnight. I’ve even had them try to jump up for a cuddle.

    • 100% agree. My kids no longer live at home but I have 2 cats and they either share the bathroom with me or are scratching at the door driving me nuts.

  • Hahaha, this so made me laugh. And no, I don’t think they grow out of it. My 17 year old still barges in and I have to tell him to leave!!

  • I don’t think this ever changes. If it’s not the kids wanting to talk to me when I’m on the loo, it’s my dog and she can open the door too

  • It never stops. If it’s not the kids, it’s the dogs lol.

  • Oh yeh, they are just one very normal family. I can still never go to the loo in peace and quiet when my kids are home and they are all in school!

  • My sons always wanted me when I was on the loo. Wit the younger son he said what are you doing I said I am having a wee! he said why do you sit to wee? because I am a girl not a boy and I do not have a penis, he was quiet for a while then said can I see of course I said no and got him to go, but realised it was time to show him pictures of females and males using a copy of Everywoman by DEREK LLEWELTHAN -JONES it was the best way for me at that time. But you showing this brought back memories of long ago. Still have the book but kids know more now any way.

  • I can relate to this as both of my kids always seemed to need me when I was in the loo.

  • Happens to everyone when there is a young one around – so pleased no photos of me in the shower when grandchild decided he really, really needed me. So pleased his only comment was, you’ve got boobs like mummy, too. There would have been so many things I didn’t have like mummy.

  • Is this just more attention seeking at any cost?

  • Never a minute to yourself when you have little ones that’s for sure. But he can’t be too worried about privacy to share a pic of himself with the world on the loo

  • Lol, yes we’ve all been there or still are in the middle of it !

    • An experience that so many parents have in common! All you can do is laugh! :)
